By Xiaomi is yet to release the MIUI 12 update for the Redmi 8A Dual. The device launched with Android Pie pre-installed and even bagged the update to Android 10 a while ago.
At the time of writing, Xiaomi’s new skin has been pushed to almost all eligible smartphones barring a few budget phones such as the Redmi 8A Dual. And it appears that users may have to wait a bit more to get their hands on MIUI 12.
This is because the company has begun seeding a new software update for the device in India. As the title suggests, it comes with the MIUI 11-skin on top of Android 10.
The new software update is rolling out as version 11.0.3.0.QCQINXM and brings the November security patch along with it. We’ve shared the changelog for the update below.

As you can see, there’s not much to talk about the new update since the only improvement here is the latest security patch.
Xiaomi has not shared any details regarding the availability of MIUI 12 for the Redmi Note 8A Dual. But we do expect to see it begin rolling out sooner rather than later.
