Realme is one of the fastest-growing smartphone brands and saw a growth of 263.5 percent last year. Even though the brand hasn’t been around for a long time, it’s already managed to amass a massive fan-base, especially in India. Furthermore, Realme tends to release a new smartphone or smartphones almost every other month. Speaking of which, the company is now expected to release two new smartphones in India.

These two devices might be the Realme C15 and the Realme C12. The Realme ‘C’ series offers excellent budget-oriented smartphones. The Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS) has approved two new Realme phones with the model numbers RMX2189 and RMX2180. The two model numbers are expected to be associated with the Realme C12 and the Realme C15 monikers respectively.

As for the specifications, the Realme C12 is expected to come with a 6.5-inch IPS LCD HD+ display. We may also see the Helio P35 chipset powering the phone coupled with 3GB of RAM. As for the battery, we may see a 6,000mAh unit with 10W charging support. The pricing for the Realme C12 is expected to be under INR 10,000 and somewhat similar to that of the Realme C11 which is priced at INR 7,499.

The Realme C15 will come with slightly better specifications than the C12. It features a 6.5-inch IPS LCD HD+ display with an 81.7% screen-to-body ratio. Under the hood, it has the Helio G35 SoC which is, again, slightly better in performance than the Helio P35. Further, the device will be available with up to 4GB RAM. Powering all this is a 6000mAh battery with support for 18W fast-charging. The price for the device is also expected to be in the ballpark of INR 10,000.

Both smartphones will come with Android 10 pre-installed alongside the company’s own skin called Realme UI. And since they will be launched with Android 10, we can expect to see the Android 11 update to make its way on to both smartphones in the near future.
