OnePlus is set to release its custom skin HydrogenOS 11 based on Android 11 in China. The same will be released as OxygenOS 11 elsewhere with Google Play Services pre-installed. Much like any other release, this new skin is expected to bring a bunch of new features to OnePlus devices. The company is scheduled to release the last closed Android 11 beta update for the OnePlus 8 and 8 Pro today.
Then, the company will begin the release of the Android 11 open beta for the two OnePlus 8 and the 8 Pro. And thanks to TechDroider on Twitter, we now have a bunch of screenshots showing off most of the new features and UI design changes that come with HydrogenOS 11. These screenshots show off the new Always-on Display settings, the dialer app, weather app, notification shade, and more from the official OnePlus video.
The minimalistic design choices OnePlus has made will please a ton of users. Although in some areas it does appear that the company has taken some of its inspiration from Xiaomi’s MIUI 12 skin. Nevertheless, you can check out all the screenshots of HydrogenOS 11 based on Android 11 for OnePlus phones from the tweet below:
