By PUBG Mobile now officially supports gameplay at 90fps. This is one feature that has been requested for a long time. Within the past couple of years, many Android smartphones have been released with high-refresh-rate displays such as the OnePlus 7T, Samsung Galaxy S20, Realme X2 Pro and more.
Therefore, PUBG Mobile fans have been waiting for Tencent to add support for 90fps. Well, this dream of many mobile gamers had turned into reality since Tencent has finally brought 90fps support for Android phones. Currently, OnePlus has secured a deal with PUBG Mobile to offer 90fps support exclusively on OnePlus smartphones for a limited time.
What this means is that certain phones from OnePlus such as the OnePlus 8/8 Pro, OnePlus 7T/7T Pro, and the OnePlus 7 Pro now support PUBG Mobile gameplay at 90fps. But in case you do not have a OnePlus phone, don’t fret. Once the time-limited deal is up, more phones will get support for the highly-requested 90fps mode.
How to enable 90fps in PUBG Mobile
Enabling the new 90fps mode is pretty easy. In fact, you need to follow the exact same steps you would to change the fps usually. Although, in this case rather than selecting options such as Ultra or Extreme, you simply have to select the 90fps option. In case you haven’t done it before, follow the steps below:
- Launch PUBG Mobile on your device.
- Tap on the Settings icon located at the bottom right corner of the screen.
- Now select the Graphics option.
- You should be able to see the available frame rate options for your device. Simply tap on 90fps.
That’s it. You will now be able to enjoy smooth gameplay on your device. Of course, that is if your device supports gameplay at 90fps in the first place.
