F1 TV subscribers on Roku devices can’t seem to catch a break with the app on the platform. Reports stating that the F1 TV channel app isn’t loading or working and users aren’t able to sign in on Roku devices start popping up mid-last year on the community forums and other platforms such as Reddit.
And unfortunately, since then, there has been no official acknowledgment regarding the broken app on the platform from either side. Disgruntled users are still trying to push the developers to take notice of the situation and release a potential fix.
Here are the latest reports for reference:
This is SO disappointing! I’m experiencing the same problem with F1TV not loading on any of my Roku devices. ATTN ROKU: Why don’t you contract F1TV about the issue on behalf of your many users? Surely you would have more sway than an individual user. At a minimum, remove the channel until the issue is resolved. ANY effort on your part would be greatly appreciated!

Have tried every single option and nothing works. Roku please step up on behalf of you customers to rectify this with the developer.

For more reports, you can check out this thread on the Roku community forums. That said, as reports continue to pour in, there is still no workaround or temporary fix for the problem. Users have tried everything from removing and re-adding the channel to even cancelling their subscription and trying again.
Naturally this has left many furious and some have even suggested to make a formal complaint with the Better Business Bureau.
Correct, I would assume by the many replies in this thread that the issue is the same for all of us. There is no update available for the f1 app. Users, again I encourage you to submit a complaint with the bbb.com

Considering how things have been going for the past few months, it’s highly unlikely that we’ll see a permananet fix for the problem anytime soon, if at all. In case there are any further developments, we’ll post an update.
